Our Story
Kenthurst Nursery is a beloved family-owned business that has operated for over 40 years. The business was founded in the 1980s by Harry and Hannah Chiha, who immigrated to Australia from their home country.
They started the nursery as a small operation on a small plot of land. With the help of their loved ones, the Chiha family has worked tirelessly to meticulously grow this nursery from that small plot to a sprawling 15 acres.
They had a passion for plants and a dedication to providing high-quality products to their community.
Growth & Expansion
Kenthurst Nursery is now a well-established & respected provider of plants, trees and shrubs, known for its wide selection of quality greenery.
As the business grew, the Chihas' children, who had grown up helping out in the nursery, joined the family business and helped to take it to the next level.
They expanded the selection of plants offered and developed relationships with other growers, landscapers, and other industry professionals.
The business continues to be operated by the Chiha family, who continue to be dedicated to providing their customers with the best quality plants and customer service. Today, the nursery operates three large sites, providing them with the necessary experience and expertise to provide their customers with the highest quality products and services.
New Leadership & Continued Success
Today, the business is passed down to their son Robert & his family and continues to flourish on three picturesque sites that collectively span over 40 acres.
The nursery is under the watchful eye of Marc Patterson, a respected member of the horticultural community, and his dedicated team who are committed to providing: high-quality plant stock, unparalleled customer service, and expert knowledge.
